i have been following some of the debates in America on the creationism/evolution wars which continually erupt over there. Even in the matter of selection of school textbooks great controversy arises. Yesterday, a schoolboard in South Carolina met to agree the use of a biology book. Its hearings were in public as one would expect but also filmed and put onto YouTube. The videos make for interesting viewing although, some times, the thick Southern American accents are difficult to understand.

Wouldn't it be good if we could do the same with the Parish and District Council meetings?
