A big thank you to all those that supported the free breakfast yesterday (Sat 1st April) at the F&
. There were over 120 of you and all showed your generosity by the donations you gave to Cancer Research UK, which amounted to the staggering total of one thousand pounds.(£1,000). Really incredible and far exceeded expectations.
And of course grateful thanks to the businesses that contributed the ingredients, KAIGHIN & DAUGHTER, CABBAGE PATCH, TESCO EXPRESS and the FOX & PELICAN, who also supplied the staff and cooks. Certainly James, John and Keith knew they had done a good mornings work!! Well done to them. And to Ben, the landlord.
Apologies to those that arrived nearer the end to find that we had run out of almost all the ingredients, thinking that we wouldn't attract more than 100 people.
Cancer Research UK, who are doing a fabulous job in finding new ways of combating cancer, will be delighted with the contribution and I know will wish to thank all participants.
Once again Grayshott show their support for worthy causes. A BIG THANK YOU.
