Hi all
Well as you all know had a kick at the Lloyds proposal for lighting up the signage.
And as with this one I got to say that as it does not have lighting then why should it go through BUT and this is the BUT bit this time.
The F&;P is a PUB and most pubs I know of do have signage that is lit.

Also the main building is a good 15-20 feet back from the road so should not be to much of an eye sore.

What does concern me is the carbon footprint of 150w lamps.
If they were to use a Low energy lamp say 25w putting out 125w approx then this would help them with the plans I would think?

And then you have to say that the trees are lit around them and the Church is lit up like a Xmas tree. So a bit hard to say NO.

My main problem is the road sign. The building signage is not a problem. All they would otherwise have to do is rap the building signs in Xmas type lights and call them that and turn them on all the time. The street sign lights if keeped in keeping with the other 'Street lights' might make it a bit more likable ?

All these ideas and not a £ in sight. :)
Take care all
Just my 2 pennies worth.

I thought this was a thread about how people who hadn't been to the Fox & Pelican in years were pleasantly surprised when they made a visit to the F&;P during the recent power cut across parts of Grayshott! I was wrong.

This Saturday night its The Ladie Killers. Female duo playing songs from Tina Turner, The Beatles, Aretha Franklin. 8-30pm. Free entry.
