Many thanks to all those who searched garages, sheds etc, we very much appreciate your help and concern.

1. Lost Cat - Church Lane November 2nd 2008, 09:07 GMT

HI - We have lost our Long Haired Gray cat, Thomas. He never wanders very far but we haven't seen him since last Wed/Thurs 29th/30th Oct.

He has no collar but is chipped and Amery vets are aware he is missing.

Please could you check outbuildings, garages, sheds, cellars.

If you have any info please call 01428-605062 email: andrew@jmdata.co.uk mobile 07766-521794.

A little girl is very distressed and deperately hopes her friend will appear!

Many thanks

I would guess Parish Council. I think there is a phone number and email address on grayshott.com somewhere.

2. Re: A3 Compensation Scheme August 2nd 2008, 10:01 GMT

Hi - I think this sounds like "ambulance Chasing".

I suspect there may be a load more of these schemes occuring as times go on.

If you are interested in lining the pockets of these people, and all the others who will join the badwaggon... then "appoint" them.

Who know's, you might get a tenner out of it... and they (in Corby not Grayshott) will undoubtable make a grate deal more.

7. Re: Health food shop March 26th 2008, 23:32 GMT

The planning application is from a company called reef estates based in London www.reefestates.co.uk. They seem to be property developers/consultants with interests in all sorts of schemes.

The scheme isn't obviously an extension to Tesco by the look of the plans, but who knows.

I suppose the key to this is who does actually owns the unit. Whether it's actually possible to find out I am not sure. The Land Registry entry may not actually say "Tesco", "Reef", "Exploit&;Plunder Ltd".

Perhaps it's for the good! Wouldn't that be a refreshing change!

3. Re: Newspaper deliveries December 20th 2007, 20:44 GMT

I drive down High Pitfold most mornings and have noticed, what I assume, is the man from the Newsagent at Haslemere Station delivering papers to people around High Pitfold.

Maybe it's worth asking if they deliver in Grayshott... or would consider it.

Good luck.

1. Broken Washing Machine December 13th 2007, 15:12 GMT

Hi - Can anyone recommend a local washing machine repair person?

Alternatively would anyone recommend CJ Hampshire in Liphook to buy a new machine... or anywhere else?

Thanks

3. Re: When will we learn December 9th 2007, 20:37 GMT

Hi - How true this is, I don't really know... A while ago someone said to me... If you do need to call an ambulance ask (demand) for a Surrey Ambulance and not a Hampshire Ambulance.

Surrey ambulances can come from Haslemere and hence take you to Guildford. Apparently a Hampshire Ambulance may take you to Basingstoke!

If anyone knows if this is the case it might be useful for us all to know. Likewise, if it's not...
